Got my Dell Inspiron 9400 two weeks ago. Managed to destroy the preinstalled software once :-). But now it is fine again. I installed it with Ubuntu 6.10 and am enjoying the great Beryl window manager. It is dualbooting Windows XP MCE that was included for my gaming sessions at the hotel while being on travel.

By the way: This Dell runs just great on linux.

The only thing that I am unable to get working is resume after suspend and the internal SD/MMC reader – but I didn’t get that reader to work running windows neither.
