Yesterday IBM released the gold version of Notes and Domino 8.0.2.

It includes some sort of iPhone capability via a special DWA (Domino Web Access) verion that is designed just for the iPhone. It is called the Ultra Lite mode and will be provided automatically (and only) if the user accesses DWA via an iPhone/iPod Touch.

This is how the springboard icon and the main menu looks like on my test server.

How do I install it in the IPHONE?
Does it comes within the Lotus Notes 8.02 Client?
    Thanks in advance

  2. @Oscar: It’s not an iPhone application itself. It is a web application. If you are using the 8.0.2 Domino mail templates for your mailfile and you have configured Domino Web Access to reach your mailfile via a webbrowser. You then open up your webmail with safaro in the iPhone and set that as homepage bookmark.

So while it looks like it is a real iPhone application it is just a website that looks iPhoneish.

@Sascha. My company uses DWA version 6.5.4 but my mail file and client software is version 8.0.1. If I upgrade the mail template to 8.0.2 will this be enough to access this on the iPhone?
