Yesterday IBM released the gold version of Notes and Domino 8.0.2.
It includes some sort of iPhone capability via a special DWA (Domino Web Access) verion that is designed just for the iPhone. It is called the Ultra Lite mode and will be provided automatically (and only) if the user accesses DWA via an iPhone/iPod Touch.
This is how the springboard icon and the main menu looks like on my test server.

Somehow I’ve missed the update for the OpenOffice 3.0.0 Beta. Nonetheless Beta 2 is now available which features — just like Beta 1 already did — a native mac ui and does no longer use the X11 framework.

Apple just released an update for iTunes. The release notes indicate that iTunes 7.7.1 “includes fixes to improve stability and performance”.
You can download this iTunes update by opening Software Update (Apple menu > Software Update).

Almost forgot to post that — via wordpress.org:
I’m thrilled to announce that Version 2.3 “Dexter” of WordPress is now ready for the world. This release includes native tagging support, plugin update notification, URL handling improvements, and much more. This release is named for the great tenor saxophonist Dexter Gordon.
The entire team is really proud of this release, and I’m happy that this is our second on-time release under our new development schedule. The grand experiment of a more agile WordPress with significant features in the hands of users more often is working.
